Default How to permanently assign IP to interface in Solaris10

I want to change the ip of one NIC in my Solaris 10, system

I can do this by ifconfig "nicname" "newip" but the problem is that when I reboot the system than the ip again goes back to the old value, I have also tried by editing the hosts file but no use, can you please tell me that how can I permanently add a IP to interface in Solaris 10

in advance
