Dear OpenSolaris Experts...
I got open solaris cd from opensolaris website... i install open solaris perfectly.... But i cant able to detect my nic card... i downloaded many of packages in so many website but none of the package r not working...

My nic card s manufactured by nvidia... My laptop configuration is

AMD Athlon 64 bit 1.8ghz
Nvidia 7000m/610 motherboard
2 GB RAM DDR2 667MHZ
160GB HD
256MB GRAPHICS CARD BY GEFORCE NVIDIA

please help me to detect my nic card.... i want to configure with another system and work in NIS,NIS+ concept in solaris.....

try and run the following from your operating system of choice, the results will let you know if all your hardware is supported or not and if there are third party drivers
