Hi,
I have been running Linux on my Fujitsu tablets and wonder if I can use Solaris.
OpenSolaris 2009.6 installs nicely. The sound and display work right away. There are some other systems I haven't found answers to:
1) The digitizer is a wacom serial device. On linux, I use setserial to make the device available, and reference it in the xorg.conf file. I don't know how to do this in OpenSolaris-there isn't an xorg.conf file.
2) Much more importantly, does anyone know of 'xsetwacom' for OpenSolaris? That is required to rotate the digitizer with the display.
3) The gnome desktop offers no suspend or hibernate options. Can OpenSolaris do this?
Otherwise, it works great, but without 1 & 2, there's really no point. Can anyone comment on those, or how difficult it is to compile the 'linuxwacom' package? I'm experienced with Gentoo linux, but have no experience with the OpenSolaris toolchain.
Thanks for any pointers.
