Permanently Set Path in Solaris?

Permanently Set Path in Solaris?
I know how to export the PATH variable via
PATH = $PATH:/my/directory
but when I reboot solaris these changes are lost from PATH
how can I make these permanent? I have got tired of exporting path after every reboot
