At what point you are getting the message of "it is saying unable to create primary partition'

Out if these theree partitions which one you are trying to select for solaris installation?

If you have Partition Magic available than I will suggest to 1st make a new Solaris partition from Windows before proceeding for Solaris installation

It should allow you , as far as I remember, you can't create more than 4 primary partitions on one disk.

Are you sure that you don't already have 4 primary partitions ?

confirm the partitions from task manager by right clicking the hard drive and then populating the volumes. or it will be even better if you use some tool like partition magic
