Hi All,

One of solaris host [5.10 Generic_141445-09 i86pc i386 i86pc] is not able to scan all the devices mapped to it.
Here we are using the symmetrix storage and 2048 devices are mapped to each fa port. When we load these bin file on the box, host is not able to scan all the devices mapped to it.

We have to do 'devfsadm' and then need to reboot the host with 'reboot -dl -- -r' option to scan all the devices mapped to it.

If we frequently the change the mapping of devices to these host, it won't able to scan all the devices.

Is there is any alternative step or host driver upgradation to be done.
Could someone help us to fix these issue?
