Hi,

When looking at the device driver utility, I see a message: Agere Systems Missing:[driver unavailable].

On my first Install of opensolaris this message never appeared, however after as I was having Internet browser problems, I installed a different network card, and re-installed opensolaris.

Is it causing any problems with your system?

if not than why not leave it this way

I appreciate what you are saying, however I don't know what Agere Systems actually do. From researching the Internet they appear to supply some of the devices on my Asus motherboard and if this is the case wouldn't the devices work better if they used the correct drivers rather than generic drivers?
